Two business owners (self-performing contractors) and two software engineers founded AboutTime to solve mobile time and attendance challenges in 2003. The CEO of AboutTime was a contractor with remote jobs and mobile employees and was searching for a more efficient way to accurately track field operations. After looking at available options, it was clear that a software-driven solution was desperately needed. He assembled a team of professionals to architect and engineer the AboutTime system to solve the challenges organizations with a mobile workforce face every day.

AboutTime was born from within the industry by industry experts.

Kory Tanner | CTO

Kory is an accomplished software engineer with vast experience in third-party integration. With a diligent work ethic Kory has demonstrated career success developing and executing architectural strategies to promote growth by utilizing emerging technologies. Kory uses his development skills to keep AboutTime solutions on the cutting edge of technology.

Russ Hanson | CIO

Russ is a veteran software engineer with industry experience that includes a wide range of skill sets including mobile application development along with many other platforms, design and development in different languages spanning thick client/server applications with complex user interfaces, to modern day web applications. Russ uses his communication and business skills to lead a variety of sales/engineering objectives for AboutTime.

Mike Merrill | COO

Mike has experience as a contractor and business owner including owning and operating a residential construction company. Mike leads the AboutTime channel development and sales team and uses his skills in partner and client negotiation, sales management, effective client resolution along with client retention to help AboutTime continue to grow as the industry leader.
